Our photographer, Bree, was able to capture this special day for Melanie + Christopher. Although the late April weather was still snowy and chilly, it did not stop this couple from getting outside for some fun and amazing images.
Melanie + Christopher met back in January 2016 when Melanie’s sister and Brother-In-Law thought these two would make the perfect couple. They both took the initiative and called Melanie + Christopher to let them know they had someone they wanted each of them to meet. After a phone call and meeting in person, they had officially started to date. For about a year and a half, Melanie + Christopher dated long distance until Christopher moved to Minnesota.
In November, 2017, Christopher proposed at the Como Park Conservatory. Lots of planning when in to this proposal, making it extra special to have their friends and family there to celebrate with them afterwards. His proposal was a great success and she of course, said yes!!
On their big day, Melanie + Christopher were most looking forward to their first look.
The reception was decorated elegantly with clear glassware, candles, soft lighting and light spring colors.
If the couple could give others planning a wedding one key piece of advice, it would be to have a wedding coordinator, even if it is a family member, friend, or professional. Having a coordinator, allows you to enjoy your day that much more and not having to worry about all the day-of details.
Congratulations Melanie + Christopher. May you have many years of happiness and love!
